I'm So In Love!

I have to pinch myself b/c I cannot believe that I am a mother of three children. It's just amazing and I'm in shock half the time...or in a daze from sleeplessness!..ha..ha. It's been so long since I've been on here. Honestly? Time is so precious and most of it is spent playing with my sweet Lilly or tending to and snuggling my new little babes. Griffin and Finley are doing fantastic. I am so amazed at how much weight Griffin has gained. He was 5lbs, 12 oz and Finley was 6lbs, 1oz at birth...and now Griffin is a porker! I'm dying to know how big they both are now. Griffin visibly looks way bigger than Finley...esp. his adorable head! It almost looks double the size of Finleys! They are both so much fun...I love playing dress up with them. To my surprise, they both don't mind doing tummy time. Lilly used to scream at me when I tried to get her to lift her head up when propped up on a boppy or a pillow. But the twins don't seem fazed by it. Griffin is so laid back, he is such a sweet baby. He eats a ton and sleeps alot. Finley, on the other hand, is very alert and full of vim and vigor! She will cry to be picked up all the time. I put her in the bjorn and carry her around. She loves that...she's basically happy just as long as I'm holding her. But she just loves to look around. She studies my face like I'm the most fascinating thing she's ever seen. It brings tears to my eyes when I hold her. She is a very smart little girl, she knows what she wants and she's figured out, very quickly, how to get it! Lilly is doing much better. After her surgery, she had quite a tough time recovering and getting back to her normal self. I honestly think that in some way, she is emotionally scarred from the surgery. It was def. not as simple a surgery as I had anticipated. She is back to her happy self again and I have to admit, I have NEVER seen her eat like she does now. She has gained alot of weight and looks so healthy now. But with all the extra food she's eating now, we are dealing with some constipation issues...fun fun! But she's doing so great and I'm so proud of her. She's my little courageous girl! She has regressed a bit with her potty training, but I could care less right now. She's much healthier and sleeps like a dream! She has also become an amazing big sister too! She loves to hug and kiss her babies...that is what she calls them. She calls them her "special babies". She doesn't enjoy the crying though, I have to say (well, who does??..ha!). She blocks her ears and tells me to pick them up...it's funny. She's also learned the art of the binky and how sticking it in the baby's mouths will quiet them. So cute. I am going to try to update my blog more recently...this absence has been way too long!!!
